Access Local Websites Without Disabling VPN - iOS/macOS OneXray RU/CN/IR

This guide works for Russia, China and Iran for now.

Setup

First, download the OneXray app - it works perfectly with VPN.svoboda.center (3 days free, connection in 3 clicks)

Instructions

Open OneXray. If you have a VPN enabled, turn it off.
Tap on the “Xray Parameter” menu as shown in the image (the Simple configuration is enabled by default).

Tap on the three dots icon next to Simple, then “Edit”.

Change the “Direct Domain Rule Set” to the value corresponding to your location: RU for Russia, CN for China, IR for Iran, and tap “Save”.

Go back to the main menu and turn on the VPN.

Verification

Check that everything is working: with VPN enabled, perform the following steps:

1. Go to an IP check website for your country:
   • Russia: 2ip.ru
   • China: ip.cn
   • Iran: getip.ir Scroll to the “Your location” field. If your real location is displayed, then the direct routing is configured correctly.
2. Then, go to i.pn to verify that the VPN server location is shown.
