Nekoray

Click on the Settings menu, then in the dropdown menu select Route Settings. nekoray-route-settings

In the window that opens, go to the Simple Route tab. nekoray-basic-routes

You will see a routing table. We are interested in the “Direct” column. Enter the valuegeoip:ru in the top cell and the valuegeosite:category-ru in the bottom cell, as shown in the picture: nekoray-routing-table

💡 To access websites of another country directly, replace ‘ru’ with that country’s code.

Verification

Check that everything is working: with VPN enabled, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to an IP check website for your country:
    • Russia: 2ip.ru
    • China: ip.cn
    • Iran: getip.ir
Scroll to the “Your location” field. If your real location is displayed, then the direct routing is configured correctly.
  2. Then, go to i.pn to verify that the VPN server location is shown.
